Once there was a conflict at MAMS Gym. All the girls and in ninth grade academy and the boys from M.A.S.E High school was there. We were all having fun and playing dodge ball. I had gotten out five times and finally got to throw the ball and hit someone. When I hit Shela, she was laughing so hard that it made me laugh. I thought to myself that I hadn't had that much fun in a long time. We played dodge ball for about an hour and we finally had to stop playing and get dressed.
As we were preparing to leave, I guess Erin Garret said something to Brandy Jordan and that started a conflict. They began to go back and forth with each other, and everyone finally realized that they were serious. I was surprised because no one had ever had a problem with Brandy because she didn't bother anyone. Brandy and Erin continues to go at it and here comes people who has nothing to do with it. It shocked me how people just wanted to have a problem.
Everyone started to crowd around in a circle and say any and everything they wanted to. This is when Brandy started to feel closed in. I'm glad I saw her at this point. I grabbed my friend, picked he up, and would not let her go. A coach kept saying,"Let her go, let her go", but at that point I knew I was making the right decision. I continued to hold her until we got into a room where I knew she couldn't get out.
This altercation taught me a lesson. I was not a good thing but it was a lesson that was put there for a reason. I learned how great of a friend I am. People try so hard to impress their friends who may not have there back through thick and thin. That day I learned no matter what you should always have the back of the people you love.
AWWWWW IREEKY. I really enjoyed this story. it was very exciting and touching to me. You are most definetly a great friend and I hope you remain that way.
